Cheer Camp as a coach Day 1

So today I am surprising a squad as a guest coach at camp. I had been their directo for the last three years and they had revealed to me that it wouldnt be the same if I was not there for the seniors' last year at camp. So the real head coach and I devised a plan that I would come to camp as their coach. As I wait for them to show up at panera bread, i think back at all the teams and young people I have had the opportunity to share my faith with. I have been blessed to have been used for so many years as a vessel of God's message. I know that, even though i may never see the full impact of my presence, I know that God will take those young people to a place they never before dreamed of.
This year will be completely different because i won't be doing demp, doing the cheers, or stunts but ill be watching, critiquing and learning from a whole new perspective. It will be hard to not want to jump in and correct other teams, but i kinda relate it to RUSH. When I was VP I planned everything, but the next year I had to step back and let the new class do their thing. So I must now watch staff do their thing, and make their own mistakes and be the vessels that God is using this year. I will get the awesome job of being with one squad the whole week, including at night doing team devos, in the morning for breakfast and at practices when they are not doing camp activities. I get to see them at their complete high energy and at their extreme exhaustian. I will be able to share with them a new perspective on life that they don't get to hear very often. I am excited to see where God takes this squad and me this year. Ill update more later.
